Did you know, one well in remote villages in Uganda can serve 6000-8000 people with clean water and save 38 lives per year as a result? Seven million people live in Uganda with no access to clean water.
Generation U is a team of game-changers from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, who are dedicated to giving safe water to every person in Uganda, Africa. GenU safe water wells will be drilled, located, and serve the bush village of Salama, Lwangosia, Panga, Nasinu, Syanyonja, Butebeyi, Namaganda, Bugali, Mawero, and Nakola in Uganda, Africa.
Generation U works with athletes who are creating a movement, leveraging what they’re already doing to make a change and give people in need clean water.
We had the honor of hosting some very special guests from Steamboat Springs High School in our Talk of the ‘Boat podcast: Henry Seremet, Achilles Cornwell, Tanner Cobb, and their football and baseball coaches Joel Cobb and Nich Cornwell. These incredible gentlemen are making remarkable changes and saving lives in remote parts of Africa through their Generation U project. A total of 9 athletes and their coaches will be traveling to villages in Uganda and bringing clean water to the people there.
