Steamboat Springs, known as Ski Town USA, has just been named the “Best Overall Ski Resort” in North America by OnTheSnow. The announcement was made at the Mountain Travel Symposium in Banff, Canada.
The award comes from OnTheSnow’s users, who collectively take millions of destination ski trips each winter. They rated and reviewed the resorts they visit for characteristics such as terrain, après-ski, family activities, and snow parks.
Located in Steamboat Springs, the Steamboat Ski Resort is one of Colorado’s largest and most popular ski resorts. With over 3,000 skiable acres, 165 trails, and an average of 350 inches of snowfall annually, it’s no wonder the resort has earned this prestigious title.
