Halloween Stroll

Occurring 10/31/2021 From 5-7 pm

One of the community’s favorite events is the Downtown Halloween Stroll. For over 30 years kids and families of all ages have gathered on Lincoln Avenue to trick-or-treat and enjoy Halloween festivities.

Get dressed in your best Halloween costume and come down to historic Steamboat Springs while businesses open their doors for trick-or-treat fun. Just one of the things that make the community special.

Downtown Steamboat is closed to traffic during the event. Costumes are not required, so if you’re just up for a little people watching check out some of our Lincoln Avenue restaurants where you can pull up a chair and enjoy a drink and an appetizer while taking in the costumes.

Presents a special class this month

Tea Blending: Establishing the Ritual

When: October 23rd from 4-6
Where: At “The Collective” located above Aspen Botanicals
Address: 116 8th St Steamboat Springs, CO
Cost: $35
Learn the basics of blending and brewing herbal tea! In this class we will talk about ritual tea drinking, blending herbs, and why teas are so important for overall wellness. You’ll leave with a hand-blended tea you can enjoy in your ritual spaces and knowledge for establishing a daily tea drinking practice.

Why Tea?
The birth of my herbal discoveries came from the simple act of brewing a delicious pot, of tea. It nourishes me to the core, offering comfort and joy for my physical and spiritual senses. I was lured to the tea by a need to find space to rest. I needed a tool to keep me connected to the elements of slowing down. I made drinking hot tea my priority, which in turn produced a rhythm, a tea drinking ritual. I was newly pregnant and discovering new needs and connections daily, the herbs just happened to meet me there, shedding light on wellness and self-care that I had not yet felt, and that warmth was wonderful! Tea has graced so many wonderful moments with others. It’s inviting to sip tea with a friend or partner. I cherish having a cup of tea with my children. I love introducing different flavors and energetics to those that are curious and long to replenish themselves. I try to include tea in my everyday experience because it makes me feel so good…like deep down to my core good. Tea blending has become my favorite craft in my herbal wellness practices, making it a focal point in my shop. Come with questions, curiosity, and an open heart, and you, too, will quite possibly be lured by the tea.
